Frequently Asked Questions
How do you rotate the tree sheer?
The tree shear comes with a control kit that allows you to switch the hydraulic oil flow from the cutting function to the rotation function.
How can I control the direction that the tree falls when cutting?
By cutting from one side, the tree tends to fall sideways. You can angle the shear forward – away from the cab – and the tree will fall forward away from the machine.
What is the hydraulic GPM requirement for the shear?
We recommend at least 10GPM hydraulic oil flow to operate the shear properly. And also 3,000psi hydraulic oil pressure.
