Single Arm Rotating Tree Shear for Excavators from 1.5-40 tons!

The Koala Excavator Tree Shear from MDE machinery is built for cutting trees from 3″ up to 22″. Built in Northern Ireland – MDE Machinery are an attachment manufacturer that specializes in tree shears, grapples and mulchers.

The Attachment Company works directly with MDE to import the tree shears for excavators up to 40 tons. The Koala Tree Shear are built with Hardox® steel with a powerful cut and hold ability with a single arm. Additional rotation options & collector arms are available.

  • The collector is designed to collect small trunks after they are cut
  • Enables the operator to keep cutting smaller branches while the collector holds the previous cut

  • Allows 55 degrees of rotation left and right 
  • Operator can position the shear to cut overhanging branches and stack piles neatly
